Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Fly T.T's Mathieu Roland started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Arnaud Lachapelle. 5 minutes into the match, Fly T.T's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko de Lima came free, but Apollinaire Salter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Léonard Keys charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Léonard Keys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Léonard Keys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apollinaire Salter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Marinho in the 11th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, Catugi FC's Rômulo Romero made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apollinaire Salter was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Rômulo Romero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apollinaire Salter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catugi FC's goalkeeper Iuri Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fabinho Teixeira hit a great ball. Apollinaire Salter came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Catugi FC's Natã Marinho. But to his dismay, Natã Marinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Fly T.T's zone, Rômulo Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apollinaire Salter came out of the goal and Rômulo Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Rômulo Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apollinaire Salter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Rômulo Romero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catugi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Rômulo Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Fly T.T's Mathieu Roland slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iuri Viana. That made the score 1-5 after 47 minutes of play. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rômulo Romero in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apollinaire Salter saved Fly T.T from getting behind. Apollinaire Salter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Romero in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Romero in the 59th minute of play forced Fly T.T's goalkeeper Apollinaire Salter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Apollinaire Salter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catugi FC. Natã Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apollinaire Salter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natã Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. If Rômulo Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Fly T.T's Apollinaire Salter got control of the ball when Rômulo Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apollinaire Salter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Romero in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Edwardo Baca notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Catugi FC's Iuri Viana. Iuri Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iuri Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Mathieu Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Catugi FC's Iuri Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathieu Roland in the 81st minute of play. Fly T.T's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Rômulo Romero scored to the left of an out of position Apollinaire Salter, making the score, 2-6. Natã Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Natã Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apollinaire Salter having to interfere. Léonard Keys hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Fly T.T's Apollinaire Salter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rômulo Romero in the 94th minute of play. The Fly T.T fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Catugi FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
