Spectators: 7592 (Terracing: 5695, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mala Dal Bello started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Bruno da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Oséas Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to PEÇONHENTO FC MG getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Júlio Batista hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Mala Dal Bello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Luisão Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Dal 3ello getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Filipe Sampaio hit a great ball. Vivaldo Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Oséas Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Dal 3ello's Oséas Ramalho got control of the ball when Dênis Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Bruno da Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oséas Ramalho. Dal 3ello's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno da Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Luisão Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Dionísio in the 39th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elói Nogueira was the one to do the kick off. Luisão Simões acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vágner Alagoano. In the 61st minute Didi Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vágner Alagoano's late challenge caught a PEÇONHENTO FC MG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vágner Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Dal 3ello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Oséas Ramalho came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Dudu Neļķis. But to his dismay, Dudu Neļķis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. A collision led to PEÇONHENTO FC MG getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Júlio Batista hit a great ball. PEÇONHENTO FC MG walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
