The supporters of ALIANZA 1901 booed when MaLe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Biörkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, ALIANZA 1901 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Zaldua to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Sverker Fanström took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arano Uncal to make any attempt to save it. In the 32nd match minute, MaLe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixten Zachrisson to maneuver through the defense. Beturian Bautista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Blomqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Buinton Valdovinos hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Gartzi Domingo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALIANZA 1901 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gartzi Domingo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arano Uncal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Larsson in the 54th minute of the match. Birjaio Airoldi kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. MaLe FC were furious when Sixten Zachrisson was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birjaio Airoldi during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Birjaio Airoldi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. ALIANZA 1901's Alfredo Corvera got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arne Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gartzi Domingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Alfredo Corvera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Arne Blomqvist made a huge save. In the 94th match minute, ALIANZA 1901 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Zaldua to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
