When Americo Lesardo fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ayapaso FC's protests and gave Americo Lesardo a yellow card for diving instead. Americo Lesardo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Umberto Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Barrenta SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto Trigo couldn't finish the play. If Umberto Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 46 minutes into the game, Severiano Eduino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayapaso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrenta SC the free kick. Severiano Eduino hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murilo Mazza to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Gabriel Valiente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's Anísio Galvão broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 74 played minutes Ayapaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Vincent. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when Ayapaso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmacio Jakue stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murilo Mazza's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Trigo in the 81st minute of play forced Ayapaso FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Barrenta SC's Naldo Oliveira got control of the ball when Elias Satordi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Satordi in the 85th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Naldo Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Maicon Loyola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmacio Jakue prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anísio Galvão hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
