In the 16th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Frutos to maneuver through the defense. Jens Giliusson's late challenge caught a SOUTH THUNDER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens Giliusson helped the player get up and apologised. 20 minutes into the game, one of IFK Stockholm:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 23 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Vesterberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Eleder. In the 28th minute, SOUTH THUNDER's Luisito Eleder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan-Ove Vesterberg. Jan-Ove Vesterberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 33 minutes of play, IFK Stockholm's Leo Lönn made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Argi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the game, IFK Stockholm's Jens Vik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Argi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. SOUTH THUNDER's Isidoro Godoy got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Godoy was the one to do the kick off. Jan-Ove Vesterberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Godoy in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Luisito Eleder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Ove Vesterberg. IFK Stockholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisito Eleder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Jan-Ove Vesterberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Godoy's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When Luisito Eleder came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the SOUTH THUNDER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Eleder couldn't finish the play. Isidoro Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Vesterberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Eleder in the 63rd minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Vesterberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Ove Vesterberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Godoy's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Jens Vik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Argi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Stockholm's zone, Isidoro Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Ove Vesterberg came out of the goal and Isidoro Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Eleder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Vesterberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Godoy in the 85th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Vesterberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Argi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Boberg's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Luisito Eleder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Jan-Ove Vesterberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jan-Ove Vesterberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the SOUTH THUNDER players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
