Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Fabio Rapa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ryan Mallia hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute Francisco Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Sant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoine Miggiani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nathan Sant made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Almir Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Matorin in the 26th minute of play forced Meerkats FC's goalkeeper Nathan Sant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almir Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Sant having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aurora FC's Wilson Matorin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Meerkats FC's Fabio Rapa got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antoine Miggiani struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Dedé Dante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meerkats FC. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Wilson Matorin made the kick off in the second half. Dedé Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Rapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Fabio Rapa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dedé Dante was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Jean Paul Taliana got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Antoine Miggiani came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Meerkats FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antoine Miggiani couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Jean Paul Taliana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute of the match Francisco Vander sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nathan Sant skillfully saved the ball. Nathan Sant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Saldanha in the 74th minute of play. When Wilson Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Aurora FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Matorin couldn't finish the play. Dedé Dante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antoine Miggiani went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 90 minutes into the game, Alfred Pavia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dedé Dante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Meerkats FC played a much better game than Aurora FC and deserved their victory. The Aurora FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
