Portus Ganda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierre Van Leemputte got free with David Şneapotă in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Portus Ganda's Nils Robin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Răducioiu in the 12th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Florin Răducioiu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nils Robin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennert Van Den Bosch in the 17th minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper David Şneapotă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Florin Bălașa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Robin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Nae Bărboianu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viola Invest fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. David Şneapotă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennert Van Den Bosch in the 22nd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Dorin Proca put in a rough tackle. In the 24th minute, one of Viola Invest:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Viola Invest. When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Portus Ganda's Danny Spoelberchs got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of David Şneapotă. If Lennert Van Den Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loid Franckx kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Stijn Bellinkx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Portus Ganda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Viola Invest were winning 1-3.

A collision led to Viola Invest getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Mihail Bologa hit a great ball. Lennert Van Den Bosch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viola Invest's David Şneapotă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Van Leemputte in the 57th minute of play. Nae Bărboianu might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils Robin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nae Bărboianu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute, Danny Spoelberchs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viola Invest were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Portus Ganda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Bilașco took the corner. Martin Bilașco made a great header on Viola Invest's corner, it was just that Portus Ganda's Nils Robin managed to reach the ball for a save. If Pierre Van Leemputte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Portus Ganda's Lennert Van Den Bosch got a free kick in the 78th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Lennert Van Den Bosch came free, but David Şneapotă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Şneapotă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennert Van Den Bosch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre Van Leemputte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Viola Invest walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
