Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) FC GURZUN's Iustinian Drăghincescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iustinian Drăghincescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Melchor Acuña when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 5 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Ifrim. Cătălin Dăianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Ofelio in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Urdeş came free, but Melchor Acuña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Geronimo Lando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Oros to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Prejun struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Cătălin Dăianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durazno FC. Augustin Gorjanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC GURZUN's zone, Eliseo Prejun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Dăianu came out of the goal and Eliseo Prejun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cătălin Dăianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Lando came free, but Cătălin Dăianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Gotzon in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Laurențiu Urdeş hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Sebastian Gotzon made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's Sebastian Gotzon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cătălin Dăianu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Sebastian Gotzon lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Cătălin Dăianu. If Răzvan Caragea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eliseo Prejun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cătălin Dăianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Răzvan Caragea charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Răzvan Caragea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Durazno FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Melchor Acuña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cătălin Dăianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Ofelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Cătălin Dăianu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Gorjanu in the 77th minute of play forced Durazno FC's goalkeeper Melchor Acuña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cătălin Dăianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Lando, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Geronimo Lando received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cătălin Dăianu came out and tried to block the shot, but Geronimo Lando slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 89th minute. Geronimo Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Dăianu having to interfere. Durazno FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
