FC Philotimo's Osorio Umbria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jame Gilliam in the 3rd minute of play. Quiñónez Louzara made in the 9th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rogelio Olalla however managed to control. 10 minutes into the match, Emanuel Solsona notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Marshrose's Santiago Hatch. Santiago Hatch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute, Frances Tisserand made a precise shot to the right of Osorio Umbria. FC Philotimo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 20th minute, Frances Tisserand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osorio Umbria was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Osorio Umbria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jame Gilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Frances Tisserand notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of FC Philotimo's Osorio Umbria. Osorio Umbria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute, Emanuel Solsona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jame Gilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Philotimo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Morales Villamizar hit a great ball. Héctor Lloret's late challenge caught a Marshrose's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Héctor Lloret helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, FC Philotimo's Osorio Umbria got control of the ball when Frances Tisserand tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute Jame Gilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osorio Umbria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Emanuel Solsona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Neicer Casanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osorio Umbria was a little too slow when Antony Sutherland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 4-2. Santiago Hatch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Solsona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Solsona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathaniel Blackmon to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the game, Héctor Lloret cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Santiago Hatch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's goal looked a bit too open when Frances Tisserand came free, but Osorio Umbria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Philotimo booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyd Stubbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC Philotimo defense, Nathaniel Blackmon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osorio Umbria. The FC Philotimo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osorio Umbria should have stopped the shot. Jame Gilliam scored 7-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osorio Umbria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Osorio Umbria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Sutherland in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, FC Philotimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morales Villamizar to maneuver through the defense. Osorio Umbria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony Sutherland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marshrose! 94 minutes into the match, Frances Tisserand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osorio Umbria. FC Philotimo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frances Tisserand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-4. Osorio Umbria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frances Tisserand, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marshrose had played much better football throughout.
