The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lisandro Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Erruki having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Maurício Pimentel made a precise shot to the right of Aquiles Erruki. INTER de Córdoba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Minho FC's Maurício Pimentel got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Lisandro Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bento Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Minho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palmiro Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes of play, Minho FC's Maurício Pimentel made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquiles Erruki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurício Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Aquiles Erruki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minho FC. Caio Ponte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro Guter to strike the kick off in the second half. Lisandro Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aquiles Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. INTER de Córdoba's Aquiles Erruki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Pimentel in the 53rd minute of play. Lisandro Leite scored 4-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquiles Erruki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Pimentel in the 58th minute of play forced INTER de Córdoba's goalkeeper Aquiles Erruki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Erruki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Leite in the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, INTER de Córdoba's Desiderio Ladio got a free kick in the 66th minute. Maurício Pimentel's late challenge caught a INTER de Córdoba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurício Pimentel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Minho FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Maurício Pimentel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Pimentel in the 72nd minute of play forced INTER de Córdoba's goalkeeper Aquiles Erruki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Erruki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Pimentel in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Laureano Acevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INTER de Córdoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minho FC the free kick. Marco Varela scored 5-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquiles Erruki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marco Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minho FC had played much better football throughout.
