Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arsenio Emenon got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Arsenio Emenon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Placido Abilio came free, but Albertinho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Placido Abilio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florida Gulf Coast fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jeremias Guifre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Corderun got free with Albertinho Vaz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 played minutes Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cauan de Barros. The crowd rose to their feet as Florida Gulf Coast's Arsenio Emenon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albertinho Vaz. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 25th minute Arsenio Emenon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan de Barros hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Ciro Corderun scored to the left of an out of position Albertinho Vaz, making the score, 3-0. In the 38th minute, Florida Gulf Coast's Conrado Iliana seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Conrado Iliana the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Florida Gulf Coast protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Conrado Iliana had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 37th minute, one of Florida Gulf Coast:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Florida Gulf Coast. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Damião in the 45th minute of play forced Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Jeremias Guifre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geraldo Aguiar made a kick off. Jeremias Guifre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Damião in the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Cauan de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Florida Gulf Coast the free kick. In the 56th match minute, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan de Barros to maneuver through the defense. Albertinho Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Corderun in the 63rd minute of the match. Noel Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Florida Gulf Coast booed when Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ciro Corderun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Corderun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertinho Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Placido Abilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Vaz having to interfere. Ciro Corderun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Albertinho Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ciro Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Corderun took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albertinho Vaz. Albertinho Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 87th minute, Placido Abilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. defense, Ciro Corderun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertinho Vaz. The Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertinho Vaz should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Placido Abilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Florida Gulf Coast fully deserved thier win.
