Chesus Jusino struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Bento Bento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ríver Late. Luix Nicola came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Minho FC's Marco Varela. But to his dismay, Marco Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute Maurício Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luix Nicola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luix Nicola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Leite went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Osoitz Baron succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 18th playminute. After 21 minutes, Maurício Pimentel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minho FC and the Ríver Late players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 22 minutes, Osoitz Baron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ríver Late's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osoitz Baron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lisandro Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luix Nicola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ríver Late's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lisandro Leite was slow to take the kick. During this time Minho FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Maurício Pimentel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Leite in the 30th minute of play forced Ríver Late's goalkeeper Luix Nicola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidónio Marinho hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Llope Dorronsoro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Leite came free, but Luix Nicola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ríver Late booed when Minho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osoitz Baron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Bento having to interfere. After the first half Minho FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osoitz Baron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osoitz Baron kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Osoitz Baron fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ríver Late's protests and gave Osoitz Baron a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Osoitz Baron hit a great ball. Ríver Late's Luix Nicola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Ríver Late from getting a goal against them. Osoitz Baron was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Minho FC booed when Ríver Late was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osoitz Baron didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Leite came free, but Luix Nicola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ríver Late's Luix Nicola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Leite in the 60th minute of play. Maurício Pimentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Sacadura hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Pablo Adurza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bento Bento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luix Nicola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Leite went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When Emenon Borrego came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ríver Late fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emenon Borrego couldn't finish the play. Luix Nicola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Minho FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Egídio Loureiro hit a great ball. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Pablo Adurza hit a great ball. Marco Varela received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luix Nicola came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Varela slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 87th minute. Ríver Late's Luix Nicola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Ríver Late from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Minho FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ríver Late.
