Lisandro Leite started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Minho FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lisandro Leite hit a great ball. Ríver Late's Luix Nicola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Pimentel in the 19th minute of play. Marco Varela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Luix Nicola made a huge save. 27 minutes into the game, Daniel Sacadura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ríver Late the free kick. After a rather tough play, Minho FC's Daniel Sacadura got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timeteo Alacan in the 29th minute of play forced Minho FC's goalkeeper Bento Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Minho FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Daniel Sacadura hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Leite in the 46th minute of play forced Ríver Late's goalkeeper Luix Nicola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luix Nicola was a little too slow when Lisandro Leite got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osoitz Baron was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osoitz Baron during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ríver Late's Osoitz Baron got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Maurício Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luix Nicola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Ríver Late got a freekick which was hit by Osoitz Baron. The audience was convinced that Maurício Pimentel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luix Nicola was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Emenon Borrego charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emenon Borrego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, Ríver Late was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emenon Borrego to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Marco Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luix Nicola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Pimentel in the 77th minute of play forced Ríver Late's goalkeeper Luix Nicola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luix Nicola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. During the 79th minute of the match Emenon Borrego completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Emenon Borrego a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Ríver Late's Emenon Borrego got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 80th minute, Marco Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moisés Ribeiro hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Luix Nicola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Loureiro in the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Lisandro Leite notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ríver Late's Luix Nicola. Luix Nicola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Minho FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
