Emenon Borrego showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Maximino Beila hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 15 minutes of play, Florida Gulf Coast's Ciro Corderun made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luix Nicola was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mateo Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Pan kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ciro Corderun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luix Nicola having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Ciro Corderun made a precise shot to the right of Luix Nicola. Ríver Late's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 33 minutes of play, Florida Gulf Coast's Ciro Corderun made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luix Nicola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luix Nicola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Corderun, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Luix Nicola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Abilio in the 43rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Emenon Borrego took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Jeremias Guifre to make any attempt to save it.
In the 59th minute, Osoitz Baron made a precise shot to the right of Jeremias Guifre. Florida Gulf Coast's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Desiderio Pan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ríver Late's zone, Cipriano Aznaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luix Nicola came out of the goal and Cipriano Aznaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Corderun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Corderun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Luix Nicola made a huge save. In the 73rd minute of the match Florida Gulf Coast got a corner. Ríver Late's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cipriano Aznaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chesus Jusino charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chesus Jusino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Florida Gulf Coast booed when Ríver Late was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chesus Jusino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Cipriano Aznaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Aznaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luix Nicola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Corderun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 81 minutes on the clock, Maximino Beila commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 80th minute, one of Florida Gulf Coast:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Florida Gulf Coast. Jeremias Guifre had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Xacobo Rico's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jeremias Guifre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xacobo Rico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Emenon Borrego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ríver Late booed when Florida Gulf Coast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Iliana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Xacobo Rico sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Florida Gulf Coast's Jeremias Guifre didn't even have to move. Florida Gulf Coast's Jeremias Guifre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osoitz Baron in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Rafe. When Ariando Alba fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ríver Late's protests and gave Ariando Alba a yellow card for diving instead. Ariando Alba kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
