The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Darien got free with Jairo Collador in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the game, Nicasio Darien recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jairo Collador. Nicasio Darien showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. A collision led to Liga de Quito getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Eduardo Mascareñas hit a great ball. When Guaberto Columbo in the 99th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Jairo Collador kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When the match was over ramirez fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Liga de Quito throughout the match.
