Raul Hustaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Victoriano Evangelista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corralito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Evangelista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlinhos Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlinhos Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. When Túlio Gaúcho fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's protests and gave Túlio Gaúcho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Túlio Gaúcho hit a great ball. After 18 minutes, Victoriano Evangelista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corralito AFC and the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA players grew even worse after the yellow card. 22 minutes into the match, Túlio Gaúcho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Corralito AFC's Raul Hustaz. Raul Hustaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raul Hustaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Melo to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Carlinhos Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Hustaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dé Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Belasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marcel Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Nuxila to strike the kick off in the second half. Corralito AFC's Raul Hustaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Rodrigues in the 52nd minute of play. If Carlinhos Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Gaúcho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raul Hustaz firmly grabbed it by the left post. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Marcel Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Evangelista in the 57th minute of play. If Carlinhos Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Hustaz made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Túlio Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. Corralito AFC's Raul Hustaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Corralito AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd match minute, Corralito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Nuxila to maneuver through the defense. Corralito AFC were furious when Maximino Terciero was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 68th minute, one of Corralito AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corralito AFC. 73 minutes into the match, João Carlos Melo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Corralito AFC's Raul Hustaz. Raul Hustaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 76 minutes into the match, Corralito AFC's goalkeeper Raul Hustaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Túlio Gaúcho. After 84 minutes of play, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Túlio Gaúcho made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Hustaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute Carlinhos Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Hustaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Txindoki hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Túlio Gaúcho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Raul Hustaz made a huge save. Raul Hustaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Rodrigues in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Túlio Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's supporters rose to their feet, but Túlio Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Hustaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raul Hustaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Túlio Gaúcho in the 98th minute. After a rather tough play, Corralito AFC's Victoriano Evangelista got a free kick in the 99th minute. After some careless play in the Corralito AFC defense, Túlio Gaúcho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Hustaz. The Corralito AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Hustaz should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
