Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Isaac Mérigot took the kick off in the first half of the match. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Marcel Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Mérigot in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Hílton Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's supporters rose to their feet, but Hílton Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugues Drevet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hílton Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Túlio Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Ahmid Dunoyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Túlio Gaúcho hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Ahmid Dunoyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Valette Stars's Hugues Drevet got control of the ball when Hílton Abraão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Hílton Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hílton Abraão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute of the match João Carlos Melo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugues Drevet skillfully saved the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goalkeeper Hugues Drevet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Túlio Gaúcho. After some careless play in the Valette Stars defense, Hílton Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugues Drevet. The Valette Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugues Drevet should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the game, Ahmid Dunoyer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valette Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA the free kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hílton Abraão to make the kick off. Hílton Abraão took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugues Drevet. Hugues Drevet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Abraão in the 55th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Hugues Drevet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Túlio Gaúcho was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Valette Stars's Titouan Bellot got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugues Drevet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Marcel Severo made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Isaac Mérigot sent off a good shot on target. Ahmid Dunoyer hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Valette Stars's Marcel Severo threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaspard Héraud, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 71 minutes into the match, Isaac Mérigot notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Marcel Severo. Marcel Severo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. During the 84th minute of the match Hílton Abraão completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hílton Abraão a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Hílton Abraão got a free kick in the 85th minute. The supporters of FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA booed when Valette Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Picavet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Isaac Mérigot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Marcel Severo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despite being the better team, Valette Stars failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
