Hílton Abraão was slow to take the kick. During this time FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Hílton Abraão to fire away a dangerous shot which Edgard Mundo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 17th match minute, ramirez fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Baumar to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, ramirez fc's Edgard Mundo got control of the ball when Túlio Gaúcho tried to sneak it across the goal line. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Marcel Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Columbo in the 21st minute of play. Hílton Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hílton Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Abraão. When Arturo Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the ramirez fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Ortzi couldn't finish the play. During the 47th minute of the match João Carlos Melo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave João Carlos Melo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 49thth minute of the game Guaberto Columbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Marcel Severo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Columbo made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Túlio Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th play minute Guaberto Columbo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcel Severo. 0-1. 63 minutes into the match, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goalkeeper Marcel Severo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Darien. 66 minutes into the match, Guaberto Columbo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Severo. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guaberto Columbo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.
