An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Hernandez in the 26th minute of play forced AlbaStars FC's goalkeeper Gazmend Fejzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Paez to maneuver through the defense. Gazmend Fejzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Fe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Rigoberto Fe's late challenge caught a AlbaStars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Fe helped the player get up and apologised. Rigoberto Fe kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Reynaldo Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elion Preka in the 53rd minute of play. Elion Preka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, AlbaStars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Fe came free, but Gazmend Fejzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Fe took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gazmend Fejzo. Gazmend Fejzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Elion Preka fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AlbaStars FC's protests and gave Elion Preka a yellow card for diving instead. Elion Preka hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th match minute, AlbaStars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elion Preka to maneuver through the defense. Elion Preka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elion Preka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Savion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Francisco Orlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Feliciano Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Elion Preka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Savion was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The AlbaStars FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bahía é Carnaval's performance. The match ended with a win for Bahía é Carnaval.
