Carmelo Cordario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matan Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Costel Eta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmelo Cordario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Carmelo Cordario was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Costel Eta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Costel Eta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 20th minute, Matan Brito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carmelo Cordario. The goal made the score 2-0. After 23 played minutes Gladiadores got a freekick which was hit by Costel Eta. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costel Eta got free with Carmelo Cordario in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute of the match, Claudio Iturri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carmelo Cordario saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Candelaria FC's Carmelo Cordario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria FC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Izotz to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Americo Mannie during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 minutes of play, Gladiadores's Claudio Iturri made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmelo Cordario was left in no man's land by his defense there! Candelaria FC's Carmelo Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Eta in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Estebe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Iturri in the 70th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Cordario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costel Eta went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After 79 played minutes Gladiadores got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Iturri. Candelaria FC's Carmelo Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Iturri in the 83rd minute of play. Carmelo Cordario didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gladiadores's Claudio Iturri shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 91st minute Claudio Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Lluis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Carmelo Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes in the game, Claudio Iturri dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gladiadores fully deserved thier win.
