The supporters of Abutres 2003 FDP booed when FC Klavertje Vier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gery De Clercq didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Simon Viergever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Adalberto Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeff Spoelbergs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adalberto Mandrak in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeff Spoelbergs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 46 played minutes Abutres 2003 FDP got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Pernambucano. Steven Gijselinghs hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 51 played minutes FC Klavertje Vier got a freekick which was hit by Steven Gijselinghs. In the 57th match minute, Abutres 2003 FDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Passos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Klavertje Vier getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kristen Provoost hit a great ball. FC Klavertje Vier's Jeff Spoelbergs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Mandrak in the 61st minute of play. Jeff Spoelbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Mendonça in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Adalberto Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeff Spoelbergs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Adalberto Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abutres 2003 FDP's protests and gave Adalberto Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. Renaud Tilens struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Rubinho Vergílio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Klavertje Vier. FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mathias Catarinense 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. 81 minutes into the match, Mathias Catarinense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeff Spoelbergs, 1-4. Abutres 2003 FDP's Rubinho Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Verengen in the 88th minute of play. FC Klavertje Vier's Jeff Spoelbergs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Catarinense in the 94th minute of play. The FC Klavertje Vier supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Abutres 2003 FDP's performance. The match ended with a win for Abutres 2003 FDP.
