In the 4th minute, Marcel Vrieling made a precise shot to the right of Jeff Spoelbergs. FC Klavertje Vier's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jerry Verengen's late challenge caught a Mosk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerry Verengen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mosk booed when FC Klavertje Vier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Verengen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Mosk's goal looked a bit too open when Renaud Tilens came free, but Mart Mans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, FC Klavertje Vier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Gijselinghs to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Klavertje Vier getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Renzo Tailleur hit a great ball. In the 26th match minute, FC Klavertje Vier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gery De Clercq to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes Mosk got a freekick which was hit by Huib Thole. In the 29th match minute, FC Klavertje Vier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renzo Tailleur to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Mosk's goal looked a bit too open when Renaud Tilens came free, but Mart Mans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mosk's Bob Decheiver got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mosk were furious when Carsten Zijden was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.

The wind increased when Renaud Tilens made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Marcel Vrieling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeff Spoelbergs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Vrieling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeff Spoelbergs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Vrieling in the 62nd minute of play. Gijsbert Zethof kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Jeff Spoelbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert Zethof in the 71st minute of the match. If Gijsbert Zethof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes FC Klavertje Vier got a freekick which was hit by Werner Van Beetz. The crowd rose to their feet as Gijsbert Zethof kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeff Spoelbergs. That made the score 1-2 in the 81 minute of play. Mosk's Mart Mans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Verengen in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute Renaud Tilens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mart Mans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mosk made a substitution. Sipke Hardering replaced Marcel Vrieling. Gijsbert Zethof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeff Spoelbergs having to interfere.
