In the 30th minute, Reconquistense FC's Mario Rodriguez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mario Rodriguez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Reconquistense FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mario Rodriguez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 29th minute, one of Reconquistense FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Reconquistense FC. Reconquistense FC's Reynaldo Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Martino in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Caricancha getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Leandro Eufemio hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justino Naelio to strike the kick off in the second half. Prospero Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Reynaldo Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Martino in the 82nd minute of the match. Modesto Raebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Caricancha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Reconquistense FC.
