Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Prospero Martino kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Atletico Maturrango's Xuban Llave got control of the ball when Braulio Ledesma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Xuban Llave successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Atletico Maturrango's Xuban Llave played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Martino in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Braulio Ledesma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Hulberto Arias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Maturrango fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Caricancha's goal looked a bit too open when Hulberto Arias came free, but Omar Telmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Ledesma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xuban Llave came out and tried to block the shot, but Braulio Ledesma slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. After 34 played minutes Caricancha got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Eufemio. In the 37th minute, Hulberto Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Caricancha's zone, Hulberto Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Telmo came out of the goal and Hulberto Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raitin Salvia to strike the kick off in the second half. Hulberto Arias struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Omar Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Maturrango. Atletico Maturrango's Xuban Llave played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Eufemio in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute Prospero Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xuban Llave saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xuban Llave showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Ledesma, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Antonio Horado kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Hulberto Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Xuban Llave made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Martino in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulberto Arias in the 75th minute of play forced Caricancha's goalkeeper Omar Telmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Caricancha's Prospero Martino made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xuban Llave was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xuban Llave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xuban Llave showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Ledesma in the 86th minute of the match. A hard shot by Guilabertus Tamez from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Omar Telmo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Xuban Llave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xuban Llave showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Ledesma, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Caricancha's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
