The supporters of Reconquistense FC booed when Passa o Tanque MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Reconquistense FC's Santiago Calvino in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Reynaldo Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 41 minutes, Jonas Lucado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reconquistense FC and the Passa o Tanque MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Reconquistense FC's Jonas Lucado got a free kick in the 41st minute. Túlio Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Lucado was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Reconquistense FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jonas Lucado hit a great ball. Reynaldo Argi came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Passa o Tanque MZ's Túlio Godoi. But to his dismay, Túlio Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

2-3 became the score in the 53rd minute when Túlio Godoi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 57 minutes in the game, Túlio Godoi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Reynaldo Argi having to interfere. Reynaldo Argi made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Júlio Maciel sent off a good shot on target. Claudinei Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Iztal in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Passa o Tanque MZ getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hugo Figueiredo hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Túlio Godoi notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Reconquistense FC's Reynaldo Argi. Reynaldo Argi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee gave Reconquistense FC a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Modesto Raebert, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Passa o Tanque MZ's Claudinei Paraense. 3-4. In the 77th minute, Túlio Godoi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Reynaldo Argi managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Passa o Tanque MZ's Júlio Maciel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 81 minutes into the match, Júlio Maciel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Argi. Reconquistense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júlio Maciel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. Reynaldo Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Godoi in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Santiago Calvino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reconquistense FC and the Passa o Tanque MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 98th match minute, Passa o Tanque MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Macedo to maneuver through the defense. After 99 played minutes Reconquistense FC got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Calvino.
