The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Tercero charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Tercero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ............ booed when Caricancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Tercero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Almaguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Gines in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ............'s Renán Ester got a free kick in the 17th minute. Prospero Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Christian Cabezas managed to get in a good position for a shot. ............'s supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Cabezas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Telmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of ............ booed when Caricancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Tercero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Alberto Clusella sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caricancha's Omar Telmo didn't even have to move. Prospero Martino charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Martino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Alberto Clusella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 29 minutes, Braulio Ledesma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caricancha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Ledesma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 minutes, Alberto Clusella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ............ and the Caricancha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, ............ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Clusella to maneuver through the defense. Caricancha's Braulio Ledesma got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Almaguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prospero Martino made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, ............'s goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Martino came free, but Rodrigo Almaguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Christian Cabezas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Ledesma hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Caricancha's Prospero Martino got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Prospero Martino off the ground. The audience was convinced that Christian Cabezas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Telmo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The referee ignored ............'s protests and gave Yoelvis Reimundez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Yoelvis Reimundez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, ............'s Rodrigo Almaguer got control of the ball when Braulio Ledesma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Cabezas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Telmo having to make a save. The ............ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Caricancha were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
