The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reynaldo Argi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Uhin in the 5th minute. Reconquistense FC's Reynaldo Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Ordono in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reconquistense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaudencio Valery was slow to take the kick. During this time The Waldos's players had a chance to rest. Gaudencio Valery made a great header on The Waldos's corner, it was just that Reconquistense FC's Reynaldo Argi managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 18th minute Vladimiro Ordono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Argi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Ordono. Vladimiro Ordono who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Reynaldo Argi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Blas-Armando Giunta kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A hard shot 40 in the game by Vladimiro Ordono from a close distance when the talented Reynaldo Argi managed to make a qualified save. Reconquistense FC's players were relieved. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 55 minutes, Igor Jago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reconquistense FC and the The Waldos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Reconquistense FC's Igor Jago got a free kick in the 55th minute. Melchor Iztal hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Argi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Ordono went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Reynaldo Argi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro Ordono's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, The Waldos's Silvestre Azibar got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Vladimiro Ordono managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Waldos's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiro Ordono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Argi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melchor Iztal kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Ordono in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Argi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Ordono came free, but Reynaldo Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, The Waldos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Uhin to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Cosme Umea fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Celedonio Dominguez, passed just outside the right post. The Waldos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Reconquistense FC for a fine match.
