Nils Van De Wiele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ward Reiniers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Frederick Vereect had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils Van De Wiele. VC zoetwater's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederick Vereect was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 44 minutes into the game, VC zoetwater's Ricky Meijers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Royal Antwerp FC's Casper Nilis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-6.
