With 5 minutes on the clock, Edwin Jennes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 4 minutes into the game, one of VC zoetwater:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 8 minutes into the game, Florencio Chico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nils Van De Wiele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Florencio Chico got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Manuel Santo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nils Van De Wiele. Nils Van De Wiele yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Pablo Feliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nils Van De Wiele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VC zoetwater's Nils Van De Wiele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save VC zoetwater from getting a goal against them. Delmiro Arce's late challenge caught a VC zoetwater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmiro Arce helped the player get up and apologised. Nestor Lucado kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Ricky Meijers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC zoetwater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricky Meijers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils Van De Wiele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Santo in the 40th minute of play. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Laureano Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Meijers in the 42nd minute of play. Nils Van De Wiele was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Manuel Santo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manuel Santo really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricky Meijers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, VC zoetwater's Ricky Meijers made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Etxeberri was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of VC zoetwater booed when CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Chico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricky Meijers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Etxeberri having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goalkeeper Laureano Etxeberri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricky Meijers. If Pablo Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Van De Wiele didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Santo went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Laureano Etxeberri got control of the ball when Ricky Meijers tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gogo Miro fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's protests and gave Gogo Miro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Miro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Feliz in the 79th minute of play forced VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Nils Van De Wiele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ricky Meijers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Manuel Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils Van De Wiele made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Delmiro Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of VC zoetwater for a fine match.
