After 3 played minutes VC zoetwater got a freekick which was hit by Jeoffrey Wiggers. When Ronaldinho Meira came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Morro Grande E.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldinho Meira couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Mazza came free, but Nils Van De Wiele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeoffrey Wiggers kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Ronaldinho Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Pedro Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Meijers in the 29th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as VC zoetwater's Ricky Meijers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Pedro Abraão. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play. Andreas Wollans hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Meijers in the 38th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper José Pedro Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

In the 58th match minute, VC zoetwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Wollans to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match José Augusto Travassos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nils Van De Wiele showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andreas Wollans charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Wollans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, VC zoetwater's Andreas Wollans got a free kick in the 60th minute. Nils Van De Wiele acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from José Augusto Travassos. 64 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Nils Van De Wiele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho Meira. The long shot by Christiano Trevisan in the 71st minute really tested Nils Van De Wiele's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Martial De Vriendt kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Sá during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jorge Sá hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Leonel Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VC zoetwater's Nils Van De Wiele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save VC zoetwater from getting a goal against them. The supporters of VC zoetwater booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Jeoffrey Wiggers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VC zoetwater's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morro Grande E.C the free kick. In the 95th match minute, VC zoetwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeoffrey Wiggers to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the VC zoetwater players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
