Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Enaut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Esteve Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Kekambas FC's goalkeeper Esteve Iratxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Augusto Martins. Fernando Veloso came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Kekambas FC's Alonzo Pirro. But to his dismay, Alonzo Pirro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 24th minute Leonel Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Wilian de Almeida. In the 30th minute, Alonzo Pirro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Pirro in the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of Kekambas FC booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fernando Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fernando Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Morro Grande E.C's Fernando Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Enaut in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Augusto Martins to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Pedro Paulo Costa got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Leonel Enaut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morro Grande E.C's Fernando Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alonzo Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Fernando Veloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Enaut. After 68 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Costa. A hard shot 70 in the game by Leonel Enaut from a close distance when the talented Fernando Veloso managed to make a qualified save. Morro Grande E.C's players were relieved. Alonzo Pirro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fernando Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Enaut who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Fernando Veloso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fernando Veloso was a little too slow when Alonzo Pirro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-3. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Narciso Brodel hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Wilian de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Fontes charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Fontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Fontes hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Fernando Bertol in the 87th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Fernando Veloso's left hand side. 97 minutes into the match, Kekambas FC's Segundo Dimo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kekambas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
