Laureano Etxeberri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Van Kamp in the 2nd minute. One of Royal Antwerp FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ:s goal. Clemente Enekoitz's late challenge caught a Royal Antwerp FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Enekoitz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Clemente Enekoitz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Delmiro Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmiro Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Weggers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Laureano Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Nilis in the 19th minute of play. Robbrecht De Metser hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Florencio Chico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Marcus Neirynck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal Antwerp FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ the free kick. Marcus Neirynck kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Clemente Enekoitz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Weggers was left in no man's land by his defense there! William Weggers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Enekoitz in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Clemente Enekoitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Nestor Lucado got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Alexandre Van Kamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. William Weggers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Enekoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Van Kamp to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Robbrecht De Metser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Cleto Aires tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Froilan Benvide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Royal Antwerp FC's Alexandre Van Kamp got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Royal Antwerp FC's William Weggers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Enekoitz in the 67th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Enekoitz came free, but William Weggers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Chico who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of William Weggers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Casper Nilis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Van Kamp came free, but Laureano Etxeberri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Van Kamp in the 96th minute of play. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
