Generoso Joachim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silas Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Generoso Joachim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pereiras FC. In the 15th minute, Salvador Garaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique de Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 25th minute Niceto Daunte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Joachim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Mandrak went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Generoso Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Soeiro in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Ciro Mandrak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kikemania FC's Generoso Joachim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Adelino Vasconcelos made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Joachim. Kikemania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 40th minute, Ciro Mandrak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pereiras FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Generoso Joachim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Carolo Senen fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kikemania FC's protests and gave Carolo Senen a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Ivo Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pereiras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Joachim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Silas Soeiro made the kick off in the second half. Kikemania FC's Generoso Joachim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Kikemania FC from getting a goal against them. Pereiras FC's Enrique de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Lico in the 56th minute of play. If Silas Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Pereiras FC's Ciro Mandrak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Generoso Joachim. Generoso Joachim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Generoso Joachim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silas Soeiro's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Enrique de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Daunte, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 92 minutes of play, Pereiras FC's Adelino Vasconcelos made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Joachim was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the game, Pereiras FC's Ciro Mandrak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Joachim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8.
