The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Durval Torres during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pereiras FC's Durval Torres got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Niceto Daunte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Kikemania FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ubaldo Lico hit a great ball. The supporters of Pereiras FC booed when Kikemania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Lico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Generoso Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Torres in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Rony Secco suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Tiburcio Ofelio fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kikemania FC's protests and gave Tiburcio Ofelio a yellow card for diving instead. Pereiras FC's Nico Figueiredo was substituted for Rony Secco. In the 12th minute, Tiburcio Ofelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Generoso Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Mandrak in the 19th minute of the match. Generoso Joachim was a little too slow when Silas Soeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. But to his dismay, Niceto Daunte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Generoso Joachim was a little too slow when Ciro Mandrak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-1. With a little luck, Kikemania FC's Generoso Joachim got control of the ball when Adelino Vasconcelos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salvador Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique de Senna having to interfere. Filomeno Soin hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Generoso Joachim acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ivo Macedo. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silas Soeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Adelino Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Joachim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Mandrak in the 55th minute of play. Generoso Joachim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Adelino Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Adelino Vasconcelos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pereiras FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 91 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Senen came free, but Enrique de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Soin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pereiras FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
