Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilian Abraão started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sofiane Charradi got free with José Maria Ortiz in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Sofiane Charradi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Felizberto EC's goalkeeper José Maria Ortiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jim Frisck. In the 13th minute, Carlos Fernando Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. William Lundgren came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Felizberto EC's Raphael Meira. But to his dismay, Raphael Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Sofiane Charradi lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated José Maria Ortiz. 20 minutes into the game, Sofiane Charradi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. José Maria Ortiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felizberto EC's José Maria Ortiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Felizberto EC from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Marko Collin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Maria Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofiane Charradi in the 32nd minute of play. Wilian Abraão succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. In the 36th match minute, Felizberto EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Aírton Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. With a little luck, Felizberto EC's José Maria Ortiz got control of the ball when Sofiane Charradi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Sofiane Charradi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Ortiz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofiane Charradi in the 60th minute of play forced Felizberto EC's goalkeeper José Maria Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Sofiane Charradi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Maria Ortiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brahim Charradi in the 69th minute of play forced Felizberto EC's goalkeeper José Maria Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes Felizberto EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jerry Ekström who took care of the corner kick. José Maria Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sofiane Charradi's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 94th match minute, Felizberto EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Mattos to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match Marko Collin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Maria Ortiz skillfully saved the ball. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
