An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Trifănucă in the 7th minute of play forced Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Leonardo Romani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macerio Sarro kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Pello Cameno charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pello Cameno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee ignored LIVIUS UNITED MLS's protests and gave Gigi Trifănucă a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to LIVIUS UNITED MLS getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gigi Trifănucă hit a great ball. When Mugur Pârâianu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LIVIUS UNITED MLS's protests and gave Mugur Pârâianu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, LIVIUS UNITED MLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Pârâianu to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Hitzeder Palomar in the 21st minute really tested Ionică Verzea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Leonardo Romani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Trifănucă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez rounded LIVIUS UNITED MLS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Pello Cameno got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Pello Cameno off the ground. In the 32nd minute, Pello Cameno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mugur Pârâianu made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Mariano Canal. Ionică Verzea was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Leonardo Romani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Amarandei, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Leonardo Romani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Trifănucă in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Daniel Amarandei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Romani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Club Deportivo O IRIXO got a freekick which was hit by Josu Pabon. In the 48th minute of the match Cezar Chibulcutean shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonardo Romani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 55th minute, Josu Pabon made a precise shot to the right of Ionică Verzea. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Leonardo Romani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Amarandei in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Amarandei came free, but Leonardo Romani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionică Verzea came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez. But to his dismay, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 69th minute, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Daniel Amarandei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. The supporters of Club Deportivo O IRIXO booed when LIVIUS UNITED MLS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Cămătaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Leonardo Romani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Amarandei in the 77th minute of play. Leonardo Romani made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gigi Trifănucă sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Romani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Amarandei in the 80th minute of the match. Josu Pabon kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Gigi Trifănucă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonardo Romani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezar Chibulcutean, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Daniel Amarandei dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonardo Romani, 6-2. Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ionică Verzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes LIVIUS UNITED MLS got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Amarandei. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
