Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arturo Ferrer kicked off to start the match. Bill Severyns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Cedric Van Landewijck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Dreigoten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 10th match minute, SK Dreigoten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stein Vercouteren to maneuver through the defense. Bill Severyns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Loeschbor in the 12th minute of play. At last the ball reached Luis Ortiz at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of SK Dreigoten. 1-1. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Arismendy Smith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loui De Wulf in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Cedric Van Landewijck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Dreigoten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Bill Severyns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Ferrer in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the SK Dreigoten defense, Arturo Ferrer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bill Severyns. The SK Dreigoten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bill Severyns should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute Ciro Pedraza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Severyns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jules Noriega kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Frans Peers. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Arismendy Smith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedric Van Landewijck in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, SK Dreigoten's Robbe Sliepers got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gabriel Loeschbor's late challenge caught a SK Dreigoten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Loeschbor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Gabriel Loeschbor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Ciro Pedraza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bill Severyns, 2-3. In the 64th minute, Richmond Van Doren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Loui De Wulf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Dreigoten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loui De Wulf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Pedraza kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 91 minutes, Douglas Cortens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Dreigoten and the Club Atlético Lea Papá players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arismendy Smith came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Dreigoten's Cedric Van Landewijck. But to his dismay, Cedric Van Landewijck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
