HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Emre Bilgetürk in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to HEJA ESLÖV getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jan-Olof Palm hit a great ball. Mustafa Emre Bilgetürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gabriel Grubb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Grubb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedih Özhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Rüstem Ruknettin put in a rough tackle. Rüstem Ruknettin hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Rauf Baştugay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Wallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedih Özhan in the 31st minute of play. HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükrü Pozan in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Ali Kürşat Kıncal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gabriel Grubb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şükrü Pozan in the 41st minute of the match. Ali Kürşat Kıncal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Grubb having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Algot Abrahamsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rauf Baştugay. The goal made the score 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Algot Abrahamsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Grubb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şükrü Pozan in the 54th minute. Gabriel Grubb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedih Özhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Wallgren lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in HEJA ESLÖV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
