The tension between the Smiddy Celts and the Kalatakaya F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Smiddy Celts got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Hastings. Ronan Conlon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arotza Abajas in the 44th minute of the match. Ronan Conlon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Abascal in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arotza Abajas to strike the kick off in the second half. Smiddy Celts's Ronan Conlon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nardo Abadia in the 52nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Erdiano Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronan Conlon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciaran McGill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th match minute, Kalatakaya F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dantel Abaunza to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Arotza Abajas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronan Conlon. Smiddy Celts's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arotza Abajas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Ronan Conlon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Abascal in the 81st minute of the match. Nardo Abadia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronan Conlon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Jay Fleming managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smiddy Celts's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jay Fleming was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Erdiano Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Kalatakaya F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
