Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Elorri started the match with the kick off. If Ciaran McGill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Robbie McAdam fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smiddy Celts's protests and gave Robbie McAdam a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Smiddy Celts's Robbie McAdam got a free kick in the 9th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Gordon Alderson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nunez Iruinea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jordan Hastings kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Gordon Alderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nunez Iruinea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jordan Hastings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Smiddy Celts's Robbie McAdam got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Robbie McAdam off the ground. A collision led to Smiddy Celts getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Robbie McAdam hit a great ball. Nunez Iruinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Alderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gordon Alderson scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nunez Iruinea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 44 minutes, David Elorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falcor Athletic Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Elorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Falcor Athletic Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Smiddy Celts were winning 1-2.

Falcor Athletic Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Ciaran McGill scored to the left of an out of position Nunez Iruinea, making the score, 1-3. If Gordon Alderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Smiddy Celts's Jordan Hastings got a free kick in the 58th minute. Carmelo Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ronan Conlon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Eufemio's late challenge caught a Smiddy Celts's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Eufemio helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes Falcor Athletic Club got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Eufemio. Nunez Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciaran McGill in the 66th minute of play. When Ruperto Millrick came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Falcor Athletic Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Millrick couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Smiddy Celts's Munro Watson got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jay Fleming kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Angel Garci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Smiddy Celts getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jordan Hastings hit a great ball. With a little luck, Falcor Athletic Club's Nunez Iruinea got control of the ball when Gordon Alderson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Munro Watson was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Smiddy Celts getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Munro Watson hit a great ball. Salvador Nardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronan Conlon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Nardo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Willie Dyson fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smiddy Celts's protests and gave Willie Dyson a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Smiddy Celts got a freekick which was hit by Willie Dyson. David Elorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronan Conlon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Nardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciaran McGill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Iruinea having to interfere. A collision led to Falcor Athletic Club getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Salvador Nardo hit a great ball. The Smiddy Celts players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
