Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dimitris Alatza got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the game, one of Smiddy Celts:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ronan Conlon came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Dimitris Alatza. But to his dismay, Dimitris Alatza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Smiddy Celts getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jordan Hastings hit a great ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Dimitris Alatza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smiddy Celts's Ronan Conlon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ronan Conlon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Alatza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Leukothoe Lipsanos hit a great ball. Oileus Rigatos's late challenge caught a Smiddy Celts's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oileus Rigatos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute Cameron McVeagh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odysseas Atsidakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oileus Rigatos to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Akis Kiriakopoulos in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Smiddy Celts's Jay Fleming. The supporters of Smiddy Celts booed when ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Alatza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Smiddy Celts's Gordon Alderson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Odysseas Atsidakos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Smiddy Celts's goal looked a bit too open when Salmakis Pezos came free, but Ronan Conlon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronan Conlon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Alatza's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Smiddy Celts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordan Hastings to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Dimitris Alatza made a precise shot to the right of Ronan Conlon. Smiddy Celts's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 37 minutes into the match, Smiddy Celts's goal looked a bit too open when Leukothoe Lipsanos came free, but Ronan Conlon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Smiddy Celts getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Troy McEoin hit a great ball. Dimitris Alatza was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Dimitris Alatza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Ronan Conlon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Simeon Lalagos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronan Conlon. That made the score 1-3 in the 55 minute of play. Odysseas Atsidakos came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Smiddy Celts's Gordon Alderson. But to his dismay, Gordon Alderson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 64th minute Jay Fleming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odysseas Atsidakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Dimitris Alatza notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Smiddy Celts's Ronan Conlon. Ronan Conlon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Smiddy Celts's Ronan Conlon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Alatza in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Salmakis Pezos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Ronan Conlon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronan Conlon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simeon Lalagos went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. Ronan Conlon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simeon Lalagos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salmakis Pezos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ronan Conlon firmly grabbed it by the left post. 90 minutes into the match, Smiddy Celts's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Alatza came free, but Ronan Conlon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willie Dyson hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Salmakis Pezos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronan Conlon having to make a save. The Smiddy Celts fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
