The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agesilaus Talitsikas during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Agesilaus Talitsikas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Falcor Athletic Club's Angel Garci tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Falcor Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Salmakis Pezos came free, but Nunez Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Angel Garci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Salmakis Pezos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nunez Iruinea was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Falcor Athletic Club's Angel Garci seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Angel Garci the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Falcor Athletic Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Angel Garci had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ booed when Falcor Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Garci didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dimitris Alatza came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Alatza couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Carmelo Ederono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Falcor Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Salmakis Pezos came free, but Nunez Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Dimitris Alatza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nunez Iruinea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nunez Iruinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salmakis Pezos in the 27th minute of the match. Nunez Iruinea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simeon Lalagos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Simeon Lalagos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Falcor Athletic Club's Nunez Iruinea. Nunez Iruinea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Salmakis Pezos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nunez Iruinea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salmakis Pezos in the 38th minute of play forced Falcor Athletic Club's goalkeeper Nunez Iruinea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Salmakis Pezos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nunez Iruinea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Alatza's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Falcor Athletic Club's Gervasio Arce got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Leukothoe Lipsanos made a precise shot to the right of Nunez Iruinea. Falcor Athletic Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitris Alatza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nunez Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Alatza in the 52nd minute of play. A hard shot 65 in the game by Dimitris Alatza from a close distance when the talented Nunez Iruinea managed to make a qualified save. Falcor Athletic Club's players were relieved. If Leukothoe Lipsanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nunez Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Alatza in the 71st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Simeon Lalagos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nunez Iruinea. That made the score 0-7 in the 72 minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Dimitris Alatza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nunez Iruinea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. 82 minutes in the game, Dimitris Alatza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nunez Iruinea having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Nunez Iruinea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Salmakis Pezos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salmakis Pezos got free with Nunez Iruinea in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Falcor Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Alatza came free, but Nunez Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Falcor Athletic Club's Nunez Iruinea got control of the ball when Salmakis Pezos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 94 minutes, Gervasio Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falcor Athletic Club and the ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Falcor Athletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Arce to maneuver through the defense. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
