Inge Karlsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Irakliy Khokhlov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joacim Öberg in the 7th minute of the match. When Segmon IF's Gilbert Västberg in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Днепр ФК's goalie prevented a goal. Inge Karlsson made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Marat Shpagin sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th play minute Marat Shpagin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Inge Karlsson. 2-0. Segmon IF's Fredrik Örtlund was substituted for Gilbert Västberg. After having played for 21 minutes, Rudolf Kotlyarevskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Днепр ФК's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Kotlyarevskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Fredrik Örtlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Irakliy Khokhlov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Segmon IF's Inge Karlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Segmon IF from getting a goal against them. Kaj Åberg charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaj Åberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Åberg. After 36 minutes, Marat Shpagin made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Segmon IF's Inge Karlsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd match minute, Segmon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Brolin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Днепр ФК's zone, Fredrik Örtlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irakliy Khokhlov came out of the goal and Fredrik Örtlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Marat Shpagin made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Kaj Åberg made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Днепр ФК's Irakliy Khokhlov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marat Shpagin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Marat Shpagin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inge Karlsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. 68 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Marat Shpagin came free, but Inge Karlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Днепр ФК's zone, Kaj Åberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irakliy Khokhlov came out of the goal and Kaj Åberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Marat Shpagin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Karlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrey Chizhov hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Leonid Zhdanov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Днепр ФК fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonid Zhdanov during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Leonid Zhdanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marat Shpagin in the 96th minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Inge Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Днепр ФК were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Segmon IF for a fine match.
