In the 4thth minute of the game Erik Stephansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Segmon IF's Inge Karlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Olsman's late challenge caught a Segmon IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Olsman helped the player get up and apologised. Adrian Olsman hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The supporters of Segmon IF booed when Örtomta Legends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Lill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segmon IF's Fredrik Örtlund was substituted for Gilbert Västberg. Maximilian Kihlman hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Örtomta Legends's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Örtlund came free, but Rune Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Örtomta Legends's Rune Forsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Örtomta Legends from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Segmon IF booed when Örtomta Legends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Stephansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rune Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Örtlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Jens-Åke Tingelholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Segmon IF's Inge Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Stephansson in the 26th minute of play. Inge Karlsson came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Örtomta Legends's Niklas Lill. But to his dismay, Niklas Lill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Segmon IF fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Segmon IF's Kaj Åberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kaj Åberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Rune Forsberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Adrian Olsman kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Kaj Åberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rune Forsberg, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Stephansson to strike the kick off in the second half. Niklas Lill hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Kaj Åberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Forsberg was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. When Segmon IF's Fredrik Örtlund in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Örtomta Legends's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th minute, Niklas Lill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Stephansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Inge Karlsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erik Stephansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Segmon IF's Inge Karlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Segmon IF from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Örtomta Legends's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Örtlund came free, but Rune Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Hägg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Stephanssons short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Inge Karlsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Segmon IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Örtomta Legends had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
