The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Örtomta Legends's Robin Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Quadros in the 3rd minute of play. Robin Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Claudinho Quadros hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Örtomta Legends's zone, Claudinho Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Hansson came out of the goal and Claudinho Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldir Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldir Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, one of Flying Dutch:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flying Dutch. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Örtomta Legends. Staffan Kihlberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arthur Albuquerque. 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Örtomta Legends's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho da Rocha came free, but Robin Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Erik Stephansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Claudinho Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Staffan Kihlberg made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leonard Alén. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Quadros in the 31st minute of play forced Örtomta Legends's goalkeeper Robin Hansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Urbano in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Laerte Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Örtomta Legends was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Olsman to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes, Örtomta Legends's Adrian Olsman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arthur Albuquerque came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Örtomta Legends reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Claudinho Quadros made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Olsman during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yan Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Hansson having to interfere. Robin Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Pereira in the 70th minute of play. Claudinho Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Hansson having to interfere. Robin Hansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Quadros in the 75th minute of the match. Claudinho Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Örtomta Legends's goalkeeper Robin Hansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yan Urbano. Claudinho Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Robin Hansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Laerte Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Hansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match Flying Dutch got a corner. Örtomta Legends's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diogo Ferreira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Many of Flying Dutch's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Flying Dutch may have spent more time on the ball, but Örtomta Legends were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
