Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5692, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Inocencio Urtsin took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sebastião Sabóia hit a great ball. Inocencio Urtsin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Kaká Lopes made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Leonardo Magalhães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Castel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rigoberto Castel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Sein kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Couto in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Castel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute Sebastião Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Castel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Jenipapo SC's Leonardo Magalhães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Castel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Timoteo Bautista hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Castel came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Percy Lopes. But to his dismay, Percy Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After the first half Jenipapo SC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Magalhães to make the kick off. Inocencio Urtsin's late challenge caught a Jenipapo SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Urtsin helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Magalhães in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Castel saved SimuV3 from getting behind. SimuV3's Rigoberto Castel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save SimuV3 from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, SimuV3's Fabio Tolino got a free kick in the 65th minute. A hard shot by Percy Lopes from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Rigoberto Castel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Magalhães in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Castel saved SimuV3 from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cacá Brodel in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Castel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the SimuV3 defense, Leonardo Magalhães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rigoberto Castel. The SimuV3 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Castel should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute of the match Percy Lopes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rigoberto Castel skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Magalhães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rigoberto Castel was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, SimuV3's goalkeeper Rigoberto Castel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cacá Brodel. In the 83rd minute, Leonardo Magalhães reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rigoberto Castel. The goal made the score 1-7. The supporters of SimuV3 booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Castel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Magalhães in the 91st minute of play. Kaká Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Camerino, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
