In the 4th match minute, SimuV3 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. After 6th play minutes Anibal Mortal shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Rigoberto Castel and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 10th match minute, SimuV3 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Camerino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Mortal in the 11th minute of play forced SimuV3's goalkeeper Rigoberto Castel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Anibal Mortal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Castel. SimuV3's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anibal Mortal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Anibal Mortal scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Castel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 25 played minutes SimuV3 got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Inautzi. 29 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Santiago's Reasco Abres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Castel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The supporters of Club Deportivo Santiago booed when SimuV3 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Sein didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Club Deportivo Santiago getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mauricio Irizarry hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Camerino in the 37th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Santiago's goalkeeper Leandro Candina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Natal got free with Leandro Candina in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victoriano Guim's late challenge caught a SimuV3's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Guim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Victoriano Guim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Reasco Abres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Santiago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reasco Abres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anibal Mortal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrossi Colina was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, SimuV3's Rigoberto Castel got control of the ball when Ambrossi Colina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rigoberto Castel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Mortal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes, Fabian Camerino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SimuV3 and the Club Deportivo Santiago players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Deportivo Santiago booed when SimuV3 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Camerino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Inautzi was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Rigoberto Castel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Mortal in the 60th minute of play. After 61 played minutes SimuV3 got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Kaxen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reasco Abres got free with Rigoberto Castel in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Walme Jaquinot charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walme Jaquinot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Leonardo Cuebas hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Alvaro Mantzio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Deportivo Santiago's Leandro Candina didn't even have to move. Fabian Camerino hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Pedro Etxatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Ambrossi Colina recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rigoberto Castel. Ambrossi Colina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Club Deportivo Santiago played a much better game than SimuV3 and deserved their victory. The SimuV3 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
