Raí Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Gorbin. Club Deportivo Santiago's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.
