Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Johnny Wadham started the match with the kick off. FC Hiiu Pallurid's Laur Vana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Wadham in the 3rd minute of play. Aadu Klaas got his second yellow card in the match during the 14th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 14th minute, Aadu Klaas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sulev Rõõmussaar kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Laur Vana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Wadham, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Corinthians FC's David Bettney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ants Ruut in the 24th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Corinthians FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Bzeu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Corinthians FC booed when FC Hiiu Pallurid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Jõeäär didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benno Uusmaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Bettney having to interfere. David Bettney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ants Ruut in the 46th minute of the match. Ants Ruut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. David Bettney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Reg Renner charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reg Renner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Corinthians FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Reg Renner hit a great ball. Ants Ruut received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Bettney came out and tried to block the shot, but Ants Ruut slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ants Ruut during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ants Ruut kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Ants Ruut notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Corinthians FC's David Bettney. David Bettney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ants Ruut in the 72nd minute of play forced Corinthians FC's goalkeeper David Bettney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Bettney made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Ants Ruut sent off a good shot on target. Ants Ruut was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The FC Hiiu Pallurid supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Hiiu Pallurid would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
