They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Benjamin Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Radomir Bienienda made a huge save. When Lucjan Kasperowicz fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joga Bonito's protests and gave Lucjan Kasperowicz a yellow card for diving instead. Lucjan Kasperowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game José Carlos Koehler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joga Bonito's Radomir Bienienda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Carlos Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Bienienda having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Wit Fudalej hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Almir Schmidt got free with Radomir Bienienda in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cauan Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cauan Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SANTOS F.C's Cauan Leão got a free kick in the 66th minute. Arnaldo Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Kasperowicz. The supporters of SANTOS F.C booed when Joga Bonito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Kasperowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Carlos Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Radomir Bienienda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Lucjan Kasperowicz got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 97th minute, Lucjan Kasperowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over SANTOS F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Joga Bonito throughout the match.
